Mary Beth has been creating as long as she can remember. She has experiences of being a painter, sculptor, photographer, and an art educator with a BFA degree from LSU. The love of capturing the true essence of God's creation has brought her into painting commissioned portraits of people and pets and animals. Mary Beth just began using soft pastels in April, 2007 and they are fast becoming her favorite medium. She also enjoys using colored pencil, mixed media and clay. Besides being a member of CTPS she is also a member of Williamson County Art Guild.
Artist Statement:
God is my inspiration. My excitement in His creation is what drives me to paint. In everything I paint and do I give God the glory!
